Festival founder, Cody Beebe, started playing music at the age of five, following inspiration from his Uncle Shaun. Shaun was a Nashville songwriter and lived in Music City for a number of years, even getting the chance to play the Grand Ol’ Opry. Upon returning to the Northwest in the late 90s, Shaun became a police officer and started a family, with the birth of daughter Blythe. Now in her early 20s with a burgeoning music career of her own, Blythe and Shaun have been playing shows in Western Washington together. When Cody started the festival in 2012, Shaun came on board as head of security and still enjoys the same responsibility today. After 8 successful festival years, the family is putting together a set of songs that will close down the festival for the weekend on Sunday afternoon. In addition to Cody, Shaun and Blythe, Cody’s brother Cassidy, who currently manages RV camping for the festival, will also be taking the stage to sing along with the rest of the Beebes. Other than around a campfire at family gatherings, this is the first time this ensemble has performed and it is sure to be a special close to an eventful festival weekend.
